Fat dude + springboard = True beauty

Day 1: Planned out the timing using references and roughly drew key poses for my main guy.
Here I've started to draw the whole body animation out.
Whenever I felt like I lost my enthusiasm animating the body, I switched over to do the board.
Worked out great! Helped me not get sloppy or lazy.

Day 2: Finished animating the splash and then added in all the final touches.
Seeing it all in colour and done feels amazing!!
AHHHH!! I FINALLY DID IT!!!

Note to self - You need to work on them perspective drawing skills...

Juggling face

Learnt how to juggle the easy way.
Then decided to make my guy as quirky as possible.
I think the hair completes it.
Introducing...Mr. Green Face

The Little Prince (2015)

The stop motion in this film is beautiful.
From the sets to the puppets to the style.
I think they chose the perfect medium to capture the illustrations in the original book.
Also the scarf!

FEEL THE FORCE (of FKIK)

I have to admit, the kid doesn't seem to excited to push the block,
but hey maybe he's just tired
and confused about why the heck is there a block in the middle of the floor.
I'm rather proud of that little fall at the end though.
Felt like my clumsiness came out in him.

"Throw like a girl"

When I started animating this assignment
someone jokingly asked me if she was going to 'throw like a girl'.
Why? Why do people say that?
Anyways I tried my best to make her have an awesome throw.
Was going to do the whole baseball-lift leg pose but it seemed to flow better this way.

Making mini me

Made a little girl out of Japanese foam clay and wire.
Based off one of my doodles I did during class.
She sits on my bookshelf now, watching over me as I work.
Looks a bit confused though..

Smokey grey bubbles?

Pretty happy with it so far but just realized its playing at 24 frames per second.
You can see the movement better at 12 fps.
Will have to find a way to change it.
